Black Dice: John Cage meets mind-numbing headache. It’s basically the same track over and over: weird low-fi guitair and bass noises, atmospheric white noise and quite possibly even lower-fi drum beats. It may sound like an interesting combination but on a second listen, I’m not even sure someone would even want to put on this album while on crazy drugs: it would probably fuck up the high. Track five is Steve Reich inspired, I guess, but then it turns into some kind of messed up remix of undecipherable indie folk. But hey, who’s complaining? At least that song has some vocals.
