First let me start by saying this has nothing to do with My Bloody Valentine, t hat I am aware of. I once had a professor of music explain to me that John Cage really isn’t a composer he’s more of a performance artist and therefore his recordings and scores don’t really do him justice. I think that’s the idea behind this DVD. The music, which is very noisy, really isn’t the focal point of this band. Its the absurd theatrics, use of masking tape and the sonic assault that makes you walk away not knowing weather you should laugh or cry. I’d say catch these guys next time they come through your town and if you just cant get enough pick up this DVD as each performance is indeed one of a kind. deathbombarc.com
