They need the following general skills: * Strong networking knowledge, especially of Internet protocols. * Strong C/C++ and/or JAVA skills. * Solid grasp of data structures & algorithms. * Very comfortable working on Linux systems. * Experience in building large scale distributed systems is a plus. One particular position is open for someone who has great knowledge and experience of building distribute storage solutions. Must be an expert in disk I/O, RAID and other storage subsystems. Must also know about synchronization and consistency issues in distributed systems.
