Job Description:
The Urban Science office in Long Beach has an opening for a Project Manager within their Client Services team. This person will support local clients in the Southern California market including Nissan, Hyandai/Kia, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi to name a few. This individual will be focused primarily on offerings within the Customer Marketing Solutions Practice (CMS) within Urban Science. Two main offerings within CMS include a proprietary software offering called the Enterprise Lead Solutions or ELS and an offering called the Internet Lead Consortium or ILC. ELS is an end-to-end lead management system that maximizes sales and return on investment (ROI). ELS is a full-suite solution that incorporates the following modules: lead acquisition, lead capture and distribution, lead qualification scoring, treatment assignment and lead reporting. ELS is designed to provide OEMs and dealers with quality, timely leads that can be tracked through the sales process and ultimately to a closed sale. Both ELS and ILC require excellent relational database skills and a deep knowledge and expertise leveraging Microsoft SQL Server technology. This Project Manager will be responsible for the deployment and support of the ELS application and the ILC across multiple clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assumes responsibility for project outcomes, including delivery of projects that are on time, within budget and at an exceptional level of quality 2. Assumes responsibility for quality of data being utilized on assigned projects 3. Serves as liaison between client and Urban Science technical staff on installations 4. Acquires and maintains in-depth knowledge relating to client data for assigned projects 5. Performs software upgrades 6. Ensures that software is properly installed, set up, and functioning at established quality level 7. Responds to client inquiries and provides needed assistance 8. Ensures compliance with Urban Science development standards/guidelines, quality control standards and operating procedures 9. Actively supports and participates in Urban Science certification training programs to achieve targeted certification levels 10. Other duties as assigned

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Project management skills, including ability to define work plans, delegate work, monitor progress, and report schedule variances and/or scope changes • Ability to work with software tools and packages used by Urban Science. • Advanced knowledge and experience leveraging Microsoft SQL Server including DTS, SSIS, and database design • Development knowledge and experience in either C# or VB.NET • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Workflow Foundation. This experience is required for external applicants and preferred for internal applicants This technology is used for Lead Capture & Distribution • For current Urban Science employees who apply, must have knowledge of Urban Science methodologies, products (ELS), systems and areas of expertise • Ability to collaborate and identify/resolve conflicts or barriers to effective teamwork • Strong organization skills and attention to detail • Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics • College level math and analytical skills required • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to perform complex functions • Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities • Oral communication skills necessary to express ideas clearly to individuals and groups, including clients, in both formal and informal settings and to deliver effective presentations • Written communication skills necessary to develop complex documents that are clear and concise and at a level appropriate for the audience • Ability to analyze problems, determine and implement appropriate solutions EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Must possess a combination of education and experience as follows: • Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience plus hold a baccalaureate degree in engineering, applied math, computer engineering, applied science, or other technical degree, from an accredited U.S. college, university or equivalent foreign institution. OR • Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience plus hold a master’s degree in business, engineering, applied math, computer engineering, applied science, or other technical degree, from an accredited U.S. college, university or equivalent foreign institution. • Other technical degrees may be considered if complemented by demonstrated interest and ability to apply scientific knowledge to solve practical business problems and proficiency in quantitative analysis
