Printer setup for Mac OS X »
The following instructions are for printing from staff and research Macintosh. These instructions will only work for ICS Faculty, Staff and Graduate students. ICS Undergraduates and ICS Faculty who are interested in using the lab printers should see the labprinters webpage.
- Select "Go" from the top menu bar and choose "Applications".
- Find and double click "Utilities".
- Find and double click "Print Center", then click "Add Printer..."

- For "LPR Printer's Address", enter "printserver". Uncheck "Use Default Queue on Server". For "Queue Name", enter the name of the printer you wish to add.

- At "Printer Model", scroll through and find the appropriate printer type.

- If the printer model shows the correct type, click "Add".

- The name of the printer you have added should now appear in the "Printer List".
