When moving a computer to a new location, please keep ICS Support informed of the move, even if the move is within the same building. This will allow us to setup networking at the destination, check the network configuration on the machine, and update the DNS entry.
Before the move, go to https://netreg.ics.uci.edu and fill out the required information. For help with determining the MAC address, please visit NACS's webpage. If there is a large amount of computers to move, please send a list with information on each computer to helpdesk@ics.uci.edu.
Allow one business day after you have submitted the form for the setup to be completed.
