There are currently six full time faculty members in the Department of Statistics plus an ongoing recruitment for an additional faculty member. The goal of our Ph.D. program is to train statistical researchers to be leaders in the development of statistical methodology and statistical theory, and to be active participants in interdisciplinary collaborations.Below is a list of research areas in which our faculty participate.
