However if you would like to make your own plans while attending the meeting, destinations such as Disneyland, Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach are located approximately 15 miles from UCI. Irvine and the surrounding Orange County area offers an abundance of restaurants and shopping.

For evening entertainment, the home of the Pacific Symphony is located just 10 minutes from campus and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Stadium is located 15 miles from UCI.
