1) Why have courses been renumbered?
The renumbering of Bren School courses was an administrative move made by the faculty partly due to the growth of the Bren School. With new majors developing, the faculty felt this to be the ideal time to make changes reflecting this progression. The separating of ICS, Informatics, and Computer Science courses leaves many more numbering choices for classes in the future.2) How does this impact me?
Some ICS courses have now become Computer Science or Informatics courses and are listed under “CompSci” or “In4matx.” To find them, you will need to search under COMPSCI or IN4MATX in WebSoc.3) Does this change my degree requirements?
No. The renumbering does not change your degree requirements.4) Will a list corresponding old numbers to new numbers be available?
