Informatics degree sample curriculum

The sample plan below is intended for general planning purposes only. The UCI General Catalogue is the official guide to all degree and graduation requirements. Please be sure to view the notes and prerequisites for this degree, located at the bottom of the page.

CHANGES TO DEGREE IN INFORMATICS
If you intend to graduate Fall 2009 or later, you may adopt the new major requirements and choose a specialization from the following categories: Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Organizations and Information Technology. For additional information about the changes to the degree and why they were made, please view this informational sheet (53kb, PDF). If you decide to pursue the new major requirements, please visit the ICS Student Affairs office to have your degree audit updated once Fall 2009 quarter begins.
