Consider attending one of our "Open House" events for prospective applicants and admitted students listed below (typically scheduled from March – May). These events are designed for students like you who are committed to a thoughtful and engaged college search process. You’ll hear more about the Bren School’s academic opportunities from current students and faculty, and see and learn more about the campus and all it has to offer.

Later, you will hear from a Bren:ICS faculty, counselor and student ambassador about the School’s strengths, and choices of majors, courses, and learning opportunities. 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Come hear Associate Dean André van der Hoek and other faculty, alumni, and counselors share their perspectives about the Bren School’s strengths and its uniqueness from other computer science programs or schools. You will learn more about the curriculum, our faculty, and the kinds of academic support we provide to ensure your academic success. You will meet current students, and learn about the many opportunities for research, community and campus involvement, and leadership that await you outside of the classroom. Individual Question and Answer Session

Associate Dean André van der Hoek will present an overview of the Bren School’s strengths, degree programs, and student life and learning opportunities from 11 – noon. This session will lead into an informal Q & A session, during which visitors will be able to meet with academic counselors and student ambassadors to get individualized responses.
