I am a Ph.D student in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). My advisor is Prof. Max Welling and my primary research area is Machine Learning. I am a member of the Center for Machine Learning and Intelligent Systems.
I recieved a B.Tech degree in Eletronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India in 2006. After that, I spent three years at Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing Group R&D Hub in Bangalore, India. I recieved a Master's degree in Computer Science from UCI in Winter 2011. I have spent two summers interning at the Canon USA R&D Center, Irvine where I worked on computer vision related applications of machine learning.
