Broadcast Video

As mentioned, broadcast video was a major factor in the early days at the U.K. Open University. It is typically practical when the television stations are run by the government. It usually requires fixed pacing of courses, although a given program may be broadcast several times. Many Annenburg CPB videos have been broadcast by PBS stations, but seldom as formal courses.
