Standard ASCII Character Set

Graph has a character set built into it, covering the standard ASCII range, and of better visual quality than the ROM character sets supplied by PC's for various graphics modes. PCVideo uses this character set for all printing of standard ASCII characters.

Although Graph's primitive OutText prints the text transparently on the screen's existing background colour, PCVideo combines this with a rectangular colour fill to cause text to be printed with its own background colour, overwriting the current colour on the screen.
