One concern of interactive computer dialogs in the Scientific Reasoning Series is concept formation. Emphasis is on how these concepts might be derived by scientists, rather than introduced by arbitrary definition. As with other parts of these materials we strive to give a point of view more like that of science in practice, rather than the approaches typical in classes in schools and universities.
