The design groups need to record the results. We have developed in the Educational Technology Center a flexible recording system, allowing the teachers complete control of the pedagogical situation and easy for teachers to use, a script. The script specifies the material for the next stages of the production process. The emphasis is on specifying the interaction, the questions to the students, and the ways of analyzing the responses to these questions. Other details, such as text to be shown, graphic components, sound, and video, are also described in the script. In the Scientific Reasoning Series there is no use of video or sound in the current product. I would be happy to send further information about scripts to those interested in this issue. Newer developments employ CASE tools based on the script.
