These are the configuration parameters needed to read floppies that were written under p-System VI.0 as released by Network Consulting, Inc. (NCI) on the IBM PC, XT, and PS/2. sectors per track: 10 tracks per side: 40 number of sides: 1 bytes per sector: 512 step rate: 6ms (faster may be possible) write verify: cylinder access: no sector interleave: 1 track-to-track skew: 0 first p-system track: 0 sector base number: 9 It is probably *unwise* to attempt to write to discs under this format, except on a PC or XT actually booted under the NCI p-System. DISKFORMAT will refuse to format a disc when the drive is configured otherwise than in native format for that machine. This document should be retained as long as there may be material on NCI discs that has not yet been moved to more recent media. Thu Apr 9 00:41:40 PDT 1992
