  1.   I will be teaching Bayesian Analysis and Generalized Linear Models next year.

My research interest is related to developing new Bayesian methods and applying them to real-world problems. I am currently focusing on the following areas:

  1.   Developing new models that are sufficiently flexible and provide interpretable results

  2. Incorporating appropriate priors into statistical models in order to improve their performance

  3. Applying novel statistical methods to answer research questions in genetics, proteomics, and cancer studies.

The way I approach statistical problems has been greatly influenced by my PhD supervisor Radford Neal (Toronto), and by my Postdoc supervisor Rob Tibshirani (Stanford).
