• I will be teaching Bayesian Analysis and Generalized Linear Models next year.
My research interest is related to developing new Bayesian methods and applying them to real-world problems. I am currently focusing on the following areas:
• Developing new models that are sufficiently flexible and provide interpretable results
• Incorporating appropriate priors into statistical models in order to improve their performance
• Applying novel statistical methods to answer research questions in genetics, proteomics, and cancer studies.
The way I approach statistical problems has been greatly influenced by my PhD supervisor Radford Neal (Toronto), and by my Postdoc supervisor Rob Tibshirani (Stanford).
