Printing "N-Up" from Windows

To print N-Up for almost any application in Windows, try the following:

Get the latest version of ghost view and ghost script from

http://www.ghostscript.com/

and install it onto your machine. Older versions may or may not work.

Download and install a printer driver that supports n-up printing.
You do not need to have this printer physically in order to install the driver (unless copyrights say otherwise).

Make sure the printing port (found under the "Details" tab) is set to "File,"
Set the "Optimize PS for" menu is set to "Maximize Portability" (found under the "PS" tab).
Select the desired pages per sheet and page order from the "Finishing" tab.
You may have to play around with printing Portrait or Landscape to get the best results.

Open the postscript file in ghostview and select "Print" from the file menu.
Select Windows GDI driver and choose HP 8550 color laserjet
Make sure that print to file is checked. Click on properties to adjust the printer settings.
You may need to adjust the orientation in GhostView to make it fit correctly.

You will be prompted for a filename. Name it anything you like with an extension of .ps

When the printing is complete, open up the postscript file that you have created.

I got better results by then converting the file to a PDF format, which is fairy easy to do.

To do so:
Use Ghostview Convert option (File->Convert) to change to pdf

Open pdf file in Adobe Acrobat
Print file using Adobe Acrobat to physical printer
Make sure that "fit to page" box is checked and print landscape if document won't fit on one physical page

Sorry for the brevity, I'll update this when I get the chance.
