I am from China. I traveled a looong distance to get here (where I am from). When I was a kid, I learned an old Chinese saying,'the closer you hold to the top of the chopsticks, the further you would be away from your home'. For some reason, I started holding the chopsticks at the very top (maybe to testify it). Now, I have to admit sometimes the old sayings do tell some truth. So be careful if you want to try them out.

I got my English name on the flight taking me here. I took the travel as a good chance to find a name for myself (Usually it's your parents' privilege, right?). I was thinking of "Shannon", when a man beside me asked whether I had an English name. I said, "Shannon", and he took it as "Sharon". Well, I figured "Sharon" was easier to pronounce...

I admire geniuses. A genius, in my eyes, "combines an enormous amount of 'know how' with the purity of outlook of a child". How much can be called 'enormous'? I do not know. But I do know that it means a lot of work and experiences. I never expect to be a genius, but I do have things that I care, so I value experiences and learning.....
