Outside Interests
I like virtually all outdoor
activities. my new passion is rock climbing, which is absolutely the
perfect physical and mental sport. i also especially enjoy scuba diving,
in-line skating, mountain
biking, snow boarding, cross country and downhill skiing, wind surfing,
whitewater rafting, and hiking.
I am a strong supporter and participant in women's
sports. I played rugby
for nine years, for the Beantown
rugby club in Boston. i also coached the Valley Rugby Club in the
Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts for six years and recently coached the
Belmont Shore Women's Rugby Club.
I am a vegetarian
(for ethical and moral reasons) who loves to cook
and appreciates premium wine
(especially red zinfandel and cabernet sauvignon).
I have three very sweet girls (labradors): Zinfandel,
Zeta , and Zoe. Zin[fandel] is a twelve year old yellow (white) labrador,
who is an absolute angel; she was named Zinfandel because both of her
parents were chocolate labs, but she came out white (even a little pink)
like white zinfandel comes from red grapes ... but, she is the only white
zinfandel I like. Zeta is ten and an extremely loyal black lab; she does
the cutest "sit pretty" you've ever seen an 80-pound dog do. And, Zoe
is the cutest chocolate lab puppy (now four years old) you'd ever want
to meet ... even cuter than Bill's chocolate lab; she's terribly
sweet, although she can be a terror at times. actually, they're all chocolate
labs: white chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate.
the neighborhood
dogs take over the common area in University Hills every evening (about
6-7 PM during the summer time, but much earlier in the winter).
we're quite a collection.
if you live in the neighborhood and want to join us, come on by ... we'll
see you near the lower swimming pool.
