Instructions for Object

Required Parts:

8 Sticky Notes

Tape

4 Pen Caps

Instructions:

1.      Attach just the stick part of the paper on the edge of the next sticky note, on the side without any glue. (roughly half an inch of overlap)

2.      Fold the paper after the overlap section 90 degrees down.

3.      Repeat steps 1 and 2 two more times until you have a shape resembling a box that you can see through

4.      Attach another sticky note to the last one you added, this time without bending it.

5.      Lay it down on the long side that has two sticky notes so that you can see through the box. It will look like a squared off "P" laying down. Tape the free end of the box to the base.

6.      Take another sticky note and attach the sticky part to the bottom of the paper that extends past the box in such a way that when you fold it, the new sticky note is facing you. Fold it over completely.

7.      Repeat step 6 but on the opposite side.

8.      The two flaps should create two ramps that form a tent shape. Tape this joint. When looking at the "P" laying down, you can see through the original box but only up the ramp of the tent, not through it, so that the tent entrance faces to the right of the object.

9.      Take the last sticky note and cut it in half so that each side has half of the sticky strip.

10.  Stick one strip on the outside of the left most box wall so that the bottoms line up and the strip is facing you. Now fold the strip to create a door. There will be about a half an inch clearance from the top. Tape the free end to the right wall of the box.

11.  Repeat step 10 on the back side of the object.

12.  Now take two pen caps and place them hole to hole so that their extension clips are on the side of the other pen cap. The closed ends will be facing out. Tape the two caps together.

13.  Repeat step 12 with the remaining two caps.

14.  Now place the two pen cap rods underneath the toy body. Locate them half an inch from each end of the toy so that you can see the end of the pen cap.
