Participation in DASS

To apply for the DASS, please send the following information to Natasa Miskov-Zivanov (nam66@pitt.edu):

• Name
• Affiliation
• Advisor
• Research area of interest
• Year in school and expected year of graduation
• Letter from your advisor (or department head in case you do not have an advisor yet) recommending you for the summer school

Eligibility:

The summer school is open to all graduate students specializing in CAD currently enrolled full-time in a Ph.D. granting institution in any country. The student must have been enrolled at the University for the academic year 2012-2013. We are especially interested in accepting students from schools with small programs in design automation and CAD. We also encourage junior students who are on the search for a dissertation topic/advisor in design automation and CAD to apply.

Travel and accommodation awards:

Full or partial awards that cover travel expenses will be provided to all participants subject to available funds. Those students that have already attended DASS in the past are not eligible for travel and accommodation awards.

Deadline for application:

Applications are due by April 30, 2013.

You will be notified of acceptance to the DASS by May 6, 2013.
