Course Description
Gain an overview of embedded systems applications and design procedures, and learn how to plan and execute complete embedded systems designs that are cost-effective and competitive. Hands-on development is facilitated with an embedded system development kit.
Learning Objectives
- Understand various components of an embedded system.
- Debug embedded software.
- Understand interrupt service routines.
- Use common microcontroller peripherals (timer, ADC, comparator, etc.)
- Understand common interface protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)
- Perform timing analyses.
- Analyze memory requirements.
