I am a Ph.D candidate at the Department of Computer Science, University of California Irvine. I am working on Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Multimedia Processing under the supervision of Prof. Deva Ramanan and Prof. Ramesh Jain. I am affiliated with the Computational Vision Lab and Experiential Systems Lab at UC Irvine.

I was born in Tabriz, a city in the north of Iran, and grew up in Tehran, capital of Iran. I got my MSc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran (map) in Jan. 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Farokh Marvasti and Prof. Shohreh Kasaei.
