Here are a few poems for you to read first in case you aren't interested in this lengthy explanation (in a particular, yet unrevealed, order): Walking Past J. S. Waterman & Sons on a February Morning, Autumn, Maggots, Alice Kicked the Can, Untitled, With the Tide, and Night Light.
The poems are lumped into two categories. A Child's Dream is a chapbook, written over a period from 2000 to 2002, that I put together. It was subject to highly limited distribution due to the prohibitive cost of materials and labor. In other words, if you have a copy perhaps someday it will be worth something. The only missing content is the epigram. The list of poems preserves the ordering found in the book, with the exception of the two poems at the bottom of the page which were cut from the manuscript when it was sent for review to the Yale Series of Younger Poets. Unfortunately, I was brutally denied, and the prize was awarded to a man whose wife is named Bird.
I would assume that the 'new' section is self-explanatory, however, the poems are in alphabetical order and marked for a standardish length of time to indicate when they are new. Generally these are works in progress and I make no claims as to their day-to-day correlation. Expect mild similitude at best, but please prepare for the worst by visiting the page frequently and making excessive amounts of back-up copies. The first of these poems was written in 2002 while I was in Europe, still lugging around the albatross that Child's Dream has proved to be. I am working towards a second book, and when that is finally completed these will get their own section with a more appropriate name.
