MIDTERM

Our midterm will be held on Wednesday, May 1, starting at 10:00 in our usual classroom. You may have the entire class period, but we do not expect you to need it.

You may bring with you any paper materials you like. Of course you may not give or receive any information to any other student during the exam. You may not bring anything electronic with you, including phones and electronic watches.

A sample midterm is available, both without answers and with answers. We believe the sample is representative of the actual midterm, but of course there may be differences in the form, content, style, and number of questions on the actual exam.

(To avoid future disappointment, please note that a full sample final exam will not be available. However, you will have two midterms (the sample and the actual) as a guide to the kind of questions and the course slides (and lecture recordings and textbook) as reference for the content.)
