About Kasper
I completed my masters degree in Computer Science (Information technology and Mathematics) from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in December 2005. My masters thesis was on optimization of path protection in circuit switched networks.
I got my Ph.D. in January 2011 from the Department of Computer Science, ETH Zurich. During my Ph.D. I worked on various security issues including secure time synchronization and secure localization with a particular focus on distance bounding.
I'm currently working with Gene Tsudik as a post-doc at University of California, Irvine. My research interests include security of wireless networks, specifically the topic of distance bounding and localization. I'm also interested in network security and protocol design; security of embedded systems, including smart grid nodes and hand held devices; and applied cryptography.
