I am a fan of street-legal drag racing and the related topic of American muscle cars. I drive a 1996 Chevy Camaro Z/28, and aspire to build up an old classic muscle car and get it into the tens.
I am an advocate of Free Software. I use and recommend Ubuntu Linux for desktops and workstations, and Debian GNU/Linux for servers. I also think highly of FreeBSD.
Over the years I've written many programs, but I tend to run out of enthusiasm before getting anything to a distributable state. The few projects I have completed are pretty much obsolete, unless you want a rising-bubbles screensaver for your Commodore 64, a snowflake screensaver for your BeBox, or a Real-mode DOS implementation of an obscure Shogi variant featuring 256-color VGA graphics.
