Research
I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics, University of California at Irvine. I received my Ph.D. in statistics from the University of California at Berkeley in 2004. Prior to UC Berkeley, I was at Peking University in China for both master and undergraduate degrees.

My areas of specialty include statistical theory, applications of statistical methods to computer networks. My research has been focused on approximate statistical inference methods. I am also interested in machines learning. Please see my CV and papers.
