Given the following argument on IPv6 made in "Computer Networking 4th Edition, P363",
Options: An options field is no longer a part of the standard IP
header.However, its has not gone away. Instead, the options field is one of
the possible next headers pointed to from within the IPv6 header. That is,
just as TCP/UDP protocol headers can be the next header within an IP packet,
so too can an options field.
