- Adaptation in architectural mechanisms and policies
- prefetching, memory coherence, synchronization mechanisms, physical memory organization, memory association, etc.
- All architectures support a specific programming model.
Goal:
- Simulate tentative architectures using actual applications (in real or reasonable time).
