| Curriculum Vitae |
I am a ninth year MD/PhD student in my final year of medical school, having completed my PhD under
Pierre Baldi's advisorship in 2007.
Currently, I am working fulltime on the last year of medical school rotations and
continuing my research.
I design computational infrastructure (hardware, data, and algorithms) that help experimental researchers discover and refine novel medicines. My work includes designing and curating an online repository of millions of chemicals, discovering several algorithms for sifting through these chemicals more rapidly and accurately, and inventing better pattern recognition algorithms to predict a chemical's toxicity and bioactivity. For the moment, I am looking forward to finishing off this last stretch of my clinical and research training in a residency program at the right place, where I can refine my skills while contributing to an excellent academic team. Long-term, I plan to continue my work as a tenure-track research professor. |
