Th 9/7 The final course grades are now available.
Sa 8/26 The JDBC code examples (including one that we didn't cover yet in lecture) are now available, so that you can get an early start on Assignment #6.
W 8/23

Two updates tonight:

W 8/16 The midterm scores are now available.
Su 8/13 An estimate of the Schedule for the remainder of the quarter has been updated. The due dates for Assignment #4 and Assignment #5 have been updated, as discussed in Wednesday's lecture.
M 8/7

Two updates today:

  • The Final Exam has been scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2:00-4:00pm in IERF 101. (Note that this is not the same room where our lecture meets.)
  • Assignment #4 and Assignment #5 are now available.
M 7/31 The examples of stored procedures, functions, and triggers from lecture are now available.
M 7/31 The Schedule has been updated.
T 7/18 Assignment #3 is now available, along with the latest batch of Schedule updates.

Two changes tonight:

W 7/5 The discussion section will begin meeting today, and will continue to meet every Wednesday (but not Monday) for the remainder of the quarter.
M 7/3 I will be holding office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:50pm in my office (CS 408F) for the remainder of this quarter.

  • The discussion section is canceled until further notice. (On account of relatively low enrollment, the course presently has no TA assigned to it.)
  • For information about lecture material and readings, see the Schedule.
  • I urge you to spend some time reading through the material on this course Web site. Notice the set of links at the top of this (and every) page, leading you to the Course Reference, the Schedule, the Lab Manual, and the newsgroup.
  • This course will be a work in progress throughout the quarter, with the Schedule and Lab Manual updated periodically throughout. Keep an eye on this page — check back every day or so — for information about updates.
