Open Positions
We are looking for enthusiastic undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows to join our group.
We are working at the interface between Computer Science and Biology, Engineering and Medicine. Our research covers a broad range of areas including Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Machine Learning and Neural Computation.
We enjoy close collaborations with groups at MIT and the Broad Institute of MIT and
Harvard. Some of the ongoing projects tackle problems in Genomics,
Cancer Biology and Population Genetics.
One of the positions will be a joint appointment between UCI and
MIT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel to
Boston and collaborate with scientists at MIT.
UCI Graduate students
We welcome enthusiastic students to join our group! A strong
background in quantitative sciences, such as mathematics/statistics,
computer science or physics is desired.
Individuals interested in pursing a Ph.D. in computer science should apply

Sciences.
Individuals interested in pursing a Ph.D. in Mathematical, Computational and
Systems Biology should apply through the MCSB website.
Postdoc positions
The postdoc positions are open for those with a proven track record in
bioinformatics/computational biology or machine learning.
