Yaming Yu's Home Page


Yaming Yu is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Statistics at UC Irvine. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics at Harvard University and his B.S. in Mathematics from Beijing University.

Research

His primary interest is Bayesian modeling (applied to astrophysics) and statistical computing methods, such as EM-type algorithms, data augmentation, and Markov chain Monte Carlo.
