Working with me
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Informatics at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences (ICS) and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) at the University of California, Irvine. I direct research in the Center of Biomedical Informatics (CBMI).
My research interests lie in the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and Medical Informatics. In particular, I am interested in designing and evaluating interactive systems to support clinical collaboration, clinical documentations, patient-provider interactions and health information management among chronic care patients. I am a member of ACM SIGCHI and American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA).
I graduated with a Ph.D. from the iSchool at Drexel University in 2008 and a Medicine Degree from China Medical University in 2003.
