ICS Alumnus Paul Mockapetris '82 Receives ACM Software System Award
ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, today announced the recipients of three prestigious technical awards. These leaders were selected by their peers for making contributions to some of the most impactful and fastest-growing fields in technology.
Paul Mockapetris, Chief Scientist at ThreatSTOP, receives the ACM Software System Award for development of the Domain Name System (DNS), which provides the worldwide distributed directory service that is an essential component of the functionality of the global internet.
