Dr. Kibler's research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in understanding gene regulation and gene function. The goal is to develop programs that can use available data to help determine biological significant substructures in genomes. In cooperation with other researchers, his work currently centers on parsing and understanding the non-coding regions of the genome.
