RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Prof. Stern's research interests include: statistical inference using Bayesian methods, assessing the fit of statistical models, applications of statistics in the social and biological sciences, and statistics in sports. He has authored more than 50 publications (more than 30 refereed publications), and is a co-author of the graduate level statistics text "Bayesian Data Analysis".
