As the academic year is about to commence, we encourage you to review and complete the Graduate Division Virtual Graduate Welcome and Orientation found here. Each module contains very important information regarding health insurance, financial aid, how to establish residency for our out-of-state and international students, and has important resources from various campus departments. Please be sure you review and complete the New Student Checklist before you begin the quarter.

We will be hosting the Graduate Dean’s Welcome where you will be able to grab a snack, meet fellow students, speak with Madhu Reddy, the Associate Dean for Graduate Affairs, the ICS Graduate Office, and supporting staff. The event will take place on Monday, September 19th from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the quad of the Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Building(Building #419 on campus map). We will be hosting in an open house fashion, so please feel free to stop by at any time during the above timeframe, and say hello and ask questions of any of the staff members at the tables. Please take a look at the 2022-23 Admission and Registration Information, sent earlier this summer, that gives directions on how to sign up for classes, where to find the academic calendar and more. If you haven’t had a chance to review it, please do so. As we transition back to campus, in person, we understand that it may be a bit overwhelming. Please be sure to visit the UCI Counseling Center where you will find helpful resources regarding counseling and clinical services, outreach and prevention, and managing stress during COVID-19. 

As of September 1, 2022, we will be communicating with you through your UCI email address.  If you're unaware of what your UCI email address is, please log on to your Student Access account.  More information about UCI email can be found here. Once you arrive on campus, you will need to set up an ICS computer account, in person or remotely.  With this ICS computer account, you will also receive an ICS email address.  If you want to forward your ICS email to your UCI email, please check out this page.
