Please make sure you complete these items!

1.  CompleteTransfer Pre-Orientation (TPOW)”

Note: You should complete this tutorial BEFORE you make a reservation for a Transfer Advising Session.

2.  Sign Up For A Mandatory Summer Transfer Advising Session

T-SPOP is not mandatory and does not cover academic advising. It serves as a great way to be introduced to the campus and its resources.

This is mandatory. You are required to attend one of our sessions, and your hold is removed and you register for courses at our advising session.

Choose one below and register. You will need to use your UCI email address. During Transfer Advising, in addition to helping you select and register for your Fall quarter courses, you will learn more about ICS and the university as a whole. If you cannot attend in person, you still need to complete the form and then you will be sent an online presentation and will be advised through email.

Please note that there is an "advising hold" on your record. This will be removed during Transfer Advising.

Transfer Advising sign up requires the following:

  • Upload of an unofficial copy of your transcripts,

  • Upload of your course syllabi for review. Go here to learn more.
  • Upload of your IGETC (if you have one).
    • What is IGETC?
    • Is it mandatory?
      • No
    • When do I complete it?
      • Before you start this Fall.
      • We must have official certification by your community college.
    • I don't have an upload, is that ok?
      • Yes, IGETC is not required by us for admission.
      • If you will be certified this summer, then please indicate that you have a full IGETC certification when you sign up for transfer advising and then make sure to submit the official certification to UCI Admissions as soon as you have it.
      • If you don't have IGETC: you can ignore this section of the registration.
