Dear ICS Students, 
There is still time to apply for the ICS Honors Program! As a reminder, the deadline to submit the online application is on Friday, May 27th at 5pm. Faculty References are due the following week on Friday, June 3rd at 5pm. 
You can find the application requirements as well as the link to the application on our Admissions Requirements and Application page.

Please note that decisions will be sent out after Spring grades have been posted.

Research Opportunity

CEE Prof. Olivares has a great environmental contamination research opportunity for students during this summer 2022 and the next academic year, 2022-23. 

Motivated applicants are encouraged to directly email the project team leader ASAP. Please submit a one-page resume, along with an unofficial transcript to the Olivares Lab PhD student, Jialin Dong ( and cc Prof. Olivares ( Full application details can be found in the attached. 

We encourage you to globalize your UCI experience by studying abroad.   The UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP)  winter and spring 2023 program application deadlines are coming up this spring quarter 2022.  That means soon! Check out the UCEAP website to explore programs and be sure to review the  program deadline here.  

All students are encouraged to start planning early (even freshman!) to ensure they can fit studying abroad into their academic and extra-curricular plans.  You can study abroad, be involved on campus, and graduate on time.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity.
