Our Roots

Pesach Langsam is a direct descendent (son after son) of Yissochur, son of our patriarch, Jacob. The exact lineage is no longer known, although the Bible does state that he had four sons; Tola, Puvah, Iob, & Shimron. However, Pesach Langsam's wife was a niece (through her mother) of the rebbe, R. Elimelech of Lezajsk. His lineage is well known and traces back through RASHI's daughter, to King David.
