OpenEye Scientific Software's mol2gif application converts
molecular structures into bitmap images. If the input molecule
file contains 2D co-ordinates (such as an MDL SD file with the
"2D" property set in its header), these co-ordinates are used.
Otherwise, the oedepict library is used to assign suitable
2D co-ordinates.
