30.1.7 Windows

On Windows, we support the Python 2.3.x binary distribution from www.python.org. If you use Cygwin for a shell environment, please note that we do not support the Python installed by Cygwin. You can however use the Win32 Python in Cygwin by adding /cygdrive/c/Python23 to your PATH under Cygwin.

Also, for Windows, the PYTHONPATH environment variable is set from via the System Control Panel. If you un-tar the installation into C:$\backslash$openeye, then in the control panel, you would set PYTHONPATH to C:$\backslash$openeye$\backslash$python$\backslash$microsoft-win32-wintel-i686-Python23.
