My CV (last updated 09/17/2020)

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at UC Irvine, where I am advised by Nalini Venkatasubramanian and part of the Distributed Systems Middleware group. My goal is to develop machine learning tools and frameworks for real-world domains to provide efficiency, robustness, and reliability. Specifically, my research has been focused on two broad themes: (1) time-series analytics and ML for enterprise systems, and (2) smart communities, edge computing and IoT.

Before coming to UC Irvine, I graduated from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2016 with a Masters in Mathematics and a Bachelors in Computer Science. For my Master's Thesis, I worked with Maitreya Natu and Vaishali Sadaphal at Tata Research (TRDDC) Pune, on time-series forecasting and alert management for enterprise data centers.

During the summer of 2020, I interned at IBM Research AI, working with Vinod Muthusamy , Vatche Isahagian , and Evelyn Duesterwald on developing generalizable ML models for sequential datasets.

I spent the summer of 2019 at Microsoft Redmond working with Thomas Moscibroda on automating capacity management for Azure. In summer of 2018, I interned at Stanford Research International (SRI) with Carolyn Talcott and Minyoung Kim on using Formal Methods for IoT device security.

In my free time I enjoy being remarkably mediocre at soccer, scuba-diving, and photography, amongst other things.
