Incorporating cryptographic techniques and/or secure hardware for supporting SQL queries on large-sized secured data (with possibilities of using systems such as Hadoop and Spark).
Developing a secure IoT space (e.g., a smart building) that captures user-related data, and thus, requires the development of secure consent management, secure data storage according to the data retention policies, and secure data processing.
Designing computing models for MapReduce-based jobs and real-time big-data processing systems that involve complex data pipeline.
