1st International Workshop on Reliable CyberPhysical Systems
WRCPS 2012

In Conjunction With

SRDS 2012
Irvine, USA, October, 8th, 2012

Call for Papers:

Workshop Duration : 1 day.

Workshop format : Submitted position papers, Invited talks, panel , Student posters/demos.

List of Topics:

We solicit position papers/contributions related (but not limited) to the following themes:

  • Scalability and robustness of cyberphysical and sensor driven systems.
  • New sensing and information capture modalities - e.g., audio/video sensors, mobile phone based sensing, human sensors and social networking as information sources.
  • Novel applications of sensor enabled situational awareness in cyberphysical systems.
  • Programming methodologies /abstractions that overcome complexities due to CPS heterogeneity, uncertainty, and errors in sensor data.
  • Modeling & understanding observed CPS environments.
  • Context reasoning and aggregation leading to situational awareness in CPS systems.
  • Privacy challenges due to fine-grained sensor data capture.
  • Reliability of Communication in CPS environments and novel communication methodologies.
  • Reliability Experiences in CPS and deployments of sensor-enabled awareness.

Position papers must not exceed 4 pages:

Suggested format is double-column pages using at least 11-point Times Roman font and one-inch margins on all sides on A4 or letter sized pages. The page limit includes title page, references, figures, and tables. Extra material, such as additional experiments, proofs, and graphs, can be included in a clearly-marked appendix, which will be read at the discretion of the program committee. Submissions deviating from these guidelines will not be reviewed. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the workshop and present the paper.
