Imagine that you work for a large manufacturer of telephones. Your manager has just seen the advertisements for the new Siemens Cordeless Phone and charged you with the task of re-engineering it. Your new phone will be called "Best Phone." However, you have some questions about the functionality of the new phone such as what the current features actually do and what new features your potential users might want.

Make a list of ten (10) questions you would ask your manager and a group of current users of the Siemens Phone.

Email your questions to cluer@ics.uci.edu. You must put "Assignment 1" in the subject line. You must include your student number in the email text along with your questions. Do not use attachments, just plain text. Finally, remember that although this assignment is emailed, you still need to format it neatly, spell and grammar check. If you do not follow the directions in this paragraph, you will lose credit.

Common themes in the questions will be addressed in class and discussion.
